It's like the writers think this show will run for thirty seasons. They keep introducing new characters and make us think they are important by centering the plots around them. Then they die. 3 seasons and we really know nothing about aliens, really.

Great piece! I saw the original in the theaters and can say that it felt new at the time, though by a few years later I came to have a better appreciation of the serials as inspiration. Which I think made me appreciate ROTL even more. Nice job addressing the inherent racism.

It was so fun to be with folks who were so thrilled to see those characters portrayed on the screen in a realistic way for the first time. There were some cheers at the fight scenes and big moments, of course, but the amount of love for the supporting characters was really great to experience.

Iron Man 1 in NYC at the screening. No Hollywood celebs, the crowd was full of comics press, Marvel staff and invited guests. All comics people. The crowd oohed and aahed at the intros for Pepper Potts, Happy Hogan and Obadiah Stane.

"Remember kids, be like Supergirl and wear a seatbelt. I mean, not like Linda Danvers, Matrix or Cir-El who would never wear one. I guess you could be like Super-Woman/Super-Sister. Totempole-wished-into-existence Supergirl is right out. Maybe I am not the right person to be asking about this, kids"

I live in mostly conservative Warren County and I wholly agree with your assessment. She is obviously the better candidate but needs some better PR and campaign advisors

This list is man-pilled from my formative years in the 80s and 90s. Most of my favorite authors from the past 10 years or so are female authors but in the 3-5 book range - so far! Ann Leckie, N. K. Jemisin, Annalee Newitz, Rebecca F. Kuang

It was obvious that business owners who rely on immigrant labor would be the first to holler when their worker base was affected by ICE raids. That suddenly his administration (or HE himself) is realizing that this would be the result of widening raids is stunningly obvious
