One year ago today my best friend of nearly 24 years, Leo, crossed the rainbow bridge. He was nearly 27 years old. Although he had several health issues he never complained, was always happy to see me, and was sassy until his last breath.

And a couple of photos of my back garden hedgehogs - who are now sleeping for the winter. Excuse the quality of the photos - I took them looking through a window so I didn’t disturb the hedgies while they were eating.
