these sort of images make me feel a kind of comfort and peace, and i don't know why, but maybe it's because back when i was around 4-5 i used to have nightmares with this sort of imagery, even when i had never seen anything like it in my life

the only reason I personally still have religion is because I was raised with it, and It feels weird not to have it, not that I fully believe in all that, but because it's reassuring to believe there's something out there
