Perhaps appoint diplomats as ambassadors in future, and not commercial lobbyists swinging through the revolving door to and from their list of private clients.

Mine came as a bit of a shock too! The metered rate for fresh water has gone up from £1.91 per cubic metre to £2.47, and wastewater from £1.15 to £1.55.
