It's advertising. Its not fair to the original owners but it makes the dog's next adoption more likely by creating a compelling appeal for the dog. "Rescue this baby from the trauma of abandonment" catches a lot more attention and gets a lot more traction than "hey, want this dog?"

Yeah, there's better language to describe whether the writer or director were skilled and deft in their storytelling and whether they "sold" us the emotional arc or just dumped it on us.

Sadly a lot of anti-Trump people are continuing to hold onto hope that the only way to convince pro-trump people to oppose, reject, or undermine Trump is to prove once and for all that Trump truly is a monster who raped children.

Sadly, those people are wrong. "Morality" will not defeat Trump.
