I was so hyped for what this #Ashes could be, but England have under prepared and this is the result. Poor fielding, bowlers with no ideas and batsmen, outside of root, who have failed to adjust their games to the situation (a failing we see in every big game). Such a missed opportunity.

I find the food inflation news totally mad, supermarkets continue to make RECORD profits yet warn of price increases if they are taxed more. RECORD profits should not be the norm, the greed is destroying lives

Been listening to #BBCNewsbeat all morning and how they're reporting this St George's flag campaign is pretty sad. Talking about it as some innocent well meaning patriotism campaign rather than being funded, created and driven by the far right is a worrying state of affairs.

Just finished #SquidGames such a great story arc and fitting finish. There aren't many better TV series out there but doesn't seem to get mentioned alongside other TV top series votes

An interesting convo with @jonsopel1.bsky.social & @maitlis.bsky.social about BBC airing Glasto. It's a w/e w/ the biggest artists performing here in the UK, impacting a w/e of normal schedule TV. Royal Weddings, Wimbledon, Proms etc all do too. Surely BBC need to showcase our country for all ages?

Mistake from Tomos Williams there, should have seen the numbers at the breakdown but instead distracted walking round the Irish guy on the floor. Can't blame him as he's got through so much work today but tough one at the end there

Enjoyed the season of The Traitors but....Don't think the final game worked for this season of The Traitors. Don't think the seer worked, the on edge of announcing as they go out in the final was missing too. Appreciate trying it but hopefully back to basics next season

Finding the Government moves around targeting benefit fraud pretty disappointing. Target the poor ignore the rich. Wheres the moves to close tax loopholes and target tax avoiders as well? Just feels very two-tiered
