I ran for a bunch of 10 year old boys at a library, and if left to their own devices they would have set each other in fire (in game) every episode. So we had some rules.

You may also find a big variation on experience and motivation/expectations, so it may be even more important than usual to discuss shared expectations.

That's great! I think nailing down the desired age range is the first question, followed by scheduling. Be prepared for players to appear and disappear from week to week - don't take it personally.

For me, the big question is whether you want to run a "library program", or if you're just looking for space to run a private game. I think D&D is one of the more popular YA programs in our state (not that you can't focus on adults). I'm happy to share anything I might know!
