The Labour government in the UK are possibly the biggest disappointment in recent history. Morally bankrupt from the off. They don’t stand for anything. I won’t be sad to see them go tbh. Not anymore.

The Wants’ second album is even better than their first. I love it when that happens.
When I discovered their first one, I was visiting the Midwest/rust belt for the first time. Quite an experience as a Brit. Somehow that album is intertwined with that experience.

I can’t listen to music unless it has pedal steel guitar in it. But also you won’t catch me dead listening to “establishment” country, so it’s all this burnt out psychedelic country and it’s the absolute shit.

I was missing semi-acoustics so I sold my Jazzmaster and got a Gretsch Pristine earlier this year. If you set a medium to high tweedy sound and then roll off the master volume, it’s the best sound I’ve ever managed to get. I know this sounds boomer but trust me on this.
