A lot has been said about Labour's hardening of immigration rules & dehumanising rhetoric, but nobody is sharing the opinions of migrant workers.

That's why we commissioned Nandi Msezane, a care worker in East Sussex, to write this piece for us. www.thebureauinvestigates.com/stories/2025...
Opinion: Migrant workers prop up the UK’s social care system. Now…
Labour’s crackdown will break a promise made to workers like me – and leave the system in disrepair

The UK is a society built on a foundation of migration and cultural exchange

To be anti-immigration is to be anti-British

Living in a village in the UK is hard when surrounded by all the flag-waving jingoism that accompanies these commemorations. I felt I couldn't let it pass. #VEDAY80

I’m excited to share info on three art & ecology workshops I’m running this year with Found Outdoors (Wiltshire, UK).

Each day will focus on a different aspect of the land to record and share the plant/animal life found living there.

True to its long history of exploitation and obfuscation, Meta makes it as hard as possible to delete your Facebook account. It keeps changing the procedure. In some cases it directs you to the wrong tabs. But this video by Gauging Gadgets provides a simple guide. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZIJ...

Musk is reportedly considering a donation around 10x the size of the previous record donation. This is an Armada off Plymouth grade foreign assault on our democracy.

We need to act like it.
I understand the point here, but strongly disagree.

That politicians have failed to protect our democracy in the past does not justify a failure to protect it now.

The risk that our democratic system could be flooded with foreign money is real and immediate. It needs real and immediate action.
Changing electoral donation rules to stop one donor a bad idea. To change system that has benefited established parties & stop donations that now benefit an insurgent party will confirm sense system is rigged & drive backlash. To avoid that do a change which comes into effect after next election

Economy shrinks by a further 0.1%

Brexit has cut UK trade by up to 15%...

Immigration is much higher post Brexit

But..the...boats🙄

WAKE UP and smell the roses...or take your kids' future further into the mire. Then explain how poor we all are in 20 years time

Apart from the super rich of course
‘We’re getting poorer’ says Nigel Farage

In other news the Brexit he championed is on course to cut UK trade by a staggering 15% - a huge reduction in the potential economic performance of the country at a time when every penny counts
