Thanks to the huge amount of people that made it all happen!
#ebbs2025 was a success despite a heatwave. More participants than any meeting since covid. So much incredible science in the symposia, the posters and the blitz talks. Can’t quite believe it’s over. Now time to look forward for @ebbsociety.bsky.social meeting in Dublin in 2027!

Excited to be travelling to Bordeaux for the @ebbsociety.bsky.social meeting. Such a great programme for a meeting that’s always great.
We all learned from Simon and I, the project, and the IAS, were all greatly improved by his input, energy and wisdom. I will miss him enormously and I know I will not be alone in that.
15 years ago I met Simon James through a @durhamias.bsky.social project. Over time these conversations led to a project that changed my thinking about memory in all sorts of positive ways. Simon was a HUGE part of that. He provided intellectual input, but also warmth, generosity, and humour.
Great new paper out from @benslaterneuro.bsky.social on the way in which rodents make decisions based on context and temporal order. Fascinating stuff and first of a series of studies across different species on this task.

Thanks to @ebbsociety.bsky.social for supporting the @britishneuro.bsky.social meeting and a wonderful symposium today on Bridging Animal and Human Studies in Episodic and Spatial Memory. A symposium that showed what wonderful things can be learned when behaviour is put at the heart of neuroscience

I'm looking for a new full-time research assistant ("junior specialist"). It's not quite "lab manager" because I have someone who takes care of the administrative tasks, and here I'm looking for someone to help us get research done! Info is below, please pass on to any talented candidates, thanks!
