A. No children work in the British Embassy in Washington. So none were endangered by his appointment.
B. We don't know how he would treat a complainant as we have no info about how he treated staff. Snake though he is, I've never seen allegations that he failed to support his staff, male or female.

As I said, "There are reasons for Parliamentarians to be outraged."
I'm not questioning why he was a morally bankrupt choice for the role. I'm questioning why it's specifically "women in Westminster" who are "absolutely outraged" given it was being linked to men in Westminster being sex pests.

He's probably got less than 18 months. But the regime (under Vance) intends to keep hold of power for at least a decade beyond that, and SCOTUS, Congress & the Senate are backing the play.

I wonder who really counts as really underrepresented in MagicCons. They seem to be events full of those normally underrepresented elsewhere (thankfully).

The appointment was pragmatism over morals. An Ambassador needs to be able to work productively with the country's administration. Trump only deals with crooks like himself. Mandelson, because of all his negative traits, would have been able to reach the President's ear.
