Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

I fixed my computer! I have no idea what was wrong as it turns out. Hopefully just the hard drive? But maybe not because...
My motherboard IS broken. At least, I noticed that a bunch of the usb ports don't work when too much stuff is plugged in.

My motherboard IS broken. At least, I noticed that a bunch of the usb ports don't work when too much stuff is plugged in.
I actually thought of three other parts that could be fucked instead (yay?)
Fans on my heatsink - noise coming from my computer didn't sound like fans failing, but maybe!
GPU - Again, didn't sound like fans failing; parts of the gpu dying? maybe, but the gpu seemed to work fine

Got home from work and turned on my computer, it made a weird fucking noise (or my ups did). Shut it off, restarted and it made the same noise.
So I unplugged everything, turned off the ups, plugged it into the other outlet, plugged in a different computer.
