The more blade-like horns for her Mega Evolution also leans further into the "Demon Mask" theming of both her and Glalie, making her face more closely resemble that of a Hannya mask, a mask used in Noh theatre that depicts the face of a female demon.

One of my favorite things about Mega Froslass's design is the way they incorporated her arms into her "hair", so it not only resembles a furisode like her base design, but it also resembles the hairstyles worn by Heian Era noblewomen with the long back section and the "tendrils" at the sides.

Y'know, it's not often that single-player games manage to make Support/Debuff characters really, REALLY fun to play, but DQ: Heroes II absolutely NAILED it with Meena and her Astrologian-inspired playstyle in that particular game.
