At least with respect to the Senate, this once again seems to be the case.

We are told this is about safety. About law and order. But laws that cannot recognize the humanity of the people they touch are not order they are violence wearing paperwork. When enforcement becomes aggressive enough, citizenship itself becomes something you have to defend while afraid.

It was a joke, perhaps poorly executed, which people are either intentionally trying to make divisive or…they’re just morons.

If you hate the same people as your new coworkers you’ll be fine this day and age.
