And I'll add this: In Mo., vast swaths of local and state elections occur without any Dem representation. None. Because they know they have no support. So we're just giving seats away. Wouldn't win all of them or even a majority, but we could win some and move Mo. a little more purple.

Yes. I think they should. But I'll ask you: How would you message to rural folks who vote blue? To Black people in those states who vote blue at a higher rate than any other population? "Sorry, but, numerically speaking, you just don't matter. Good luck, though."

Moving is hard if you have kids. No money. No support. I lived in the Bluest state in the country -- moving from a red state to there without means is impossible. We're not talking about the 80% — we're talking about blue dots in seas of red. Consequences don't happen in a vacuum.
