Another amazing thread from Dan and well worth a read. I hate that there's been this cultivated us vs them mentality when it comes to GM's and players. Honestly we're all players at the table.
This is why I say "We are the Storytellers" it's not just your story or mine, it's our story, we share it.

One of the things I've reminded myself upon reflection of this is in the end, the reason I so viciously defend PF2e actually has little to do with the game itself.
It's the underlying issues I have with people in the wider RPG space and how tired I am of poorly socialized, myopic behaviour.

The tacit level of culturally prevelent GM disrespect throughout the RPG scene PF2e has exposed is actually blackpilling. The number of times people say things like 'this is a game for GMs, not players' just proves to me how much of the culture is steeped in toxic power dynamics...
