That’s fair. So what would you suggest? I really think additional federal funding is likely off the table at least for the next 4 years.

I agree but what is the solution? Cutting service? Cutting back of maintenance? More federal funding? The MTA is in such a financial hole because of decades of borrowing.

Good luck! I was thinking of doing this but chickened out and made reservations to go out instead. Definitely not the same as a great home cooked meal.

The MTA is just in so much debt I’m not sure what the best answer is unless the federal government bailed them out (which definitely won’t happen). Decades of underfunding and borrowing catches up to you.

I usually try to but I have to admit that there have been times I haven’t put the shopping cart back because it seemed toooo far. But I feel bad about it at least!

Hope you have time to rest. I got my Covid booster and flu shot the same day and I was knocked out the next day (of course still a much better option than getting the flu or Covid)
