Something I did last year. I now see that I need to hang where I can view it from a distance instead of where I have it hanging now. This is just a documentation photo. This is just painted from reflex. No conscious meaning.

Looking for some effective inexpensive or free video lessons on figure drawing or portraiture. I was able to get to this point tonight in a non-teaching figure drawing class. Proportions not quite right, but way better than my first ones of the evening. Recommendations welcome.

My best abstract expressionist attempt to date. Resulted in a lot of emotional tumult when I uncovered something repressed.

A collage from somewhere between my unconscious and my conscious mind. Had no idea or plans, just reacting to magazine pages In front of me. Went to the Berkeley Art Museum, and they have an ongoing “art lab” where they put materials out for people to play. Most of the other artists were preschool.

I believe I will base my next pastel on this photo I took before dawn next to Alamo Square in San Francisco.
