Are there other standardized tests they didn’t have in my day that are causing this? Is it because I also took AP tests and thus had to do more than just the SAT? Did I just have a good school (that is def part of it)? I’m just struggling to see how standardized tests mean kids can’t think.

Is it? I’m not well versed in this area but I had plenty of standardized testing growing up in the 90s and graduating high school in 2004 and I don’t feel like the tests necessarily cause this? Like, the way to pass the math SAT is to learn how to do math. Why would standardized tests lead to this?

I can’t wait for Bovino to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Yeah judges are helpful that way, they’ll go that extra mile!

There needed to be fucking planes flying banners announcing “All this help brought to you by Dems over the objection of the GOP.” And then when the GOP killed it we needed to flood the airwaves with “Republicans hate you and voted to fuck you over.”

I mean, it is a region and a problem that needs special help (bribe for a Manchin aside). We just need to be clear who is helping them. The idiots they elect are like battered spouses. “I don’t think POTUS knew. I’m Ike of his biggest supporters.” Of course he knew you fucking moron. He DGAF.

Brad Dourif is next level. He’s in 3 eps of Star Trek: Voyager and just 1 of Babylon 5 and he’s one of the most memorable side characters (at least for me) in both shows. And I was today years old when I realized he was Grima Fucking Wormtongue.

Entirely possible. On the other hand I feel like he was world class at code switching (probably a survival skill for him) and if he decided it was time to get fucked up I wonder if he might have been a little too good at it for me to keep up.

Of course, I am no longer Republican, so maybe the beer test should have told me something sooner. On the other hand, I never would have wanted a beer with Bubba, so…

Yeah, as a college Republican from 2004-2008 I wanted to have a beer with W just because he was POTUS and a Republican. But like person to person the way he talked and his little snicker were weird. Would much rather have have had a beer with Obama even while I was out campaigning for McCain.

I didn’t get the big football school experience, but I managed to keep all the dread and disappointment!

I picked the worst possible combination, which is to go to Rutgers University during Schiano‘s first term, witness the greatest wins in our program’s history, and then have him leave for like a decade while the team fell apart and is only now struggling to claw itself back up.

Falsely notorious for it, as it turns out. Some Continentals raised a white flag to call for quarter and right after that the “bad guy” had his horse shot out from under him and his men thought the Americans were committing perfidy.

Yeah, Jess is pretty great overall in my experience but this is flatly wrong. He had a huge fan base.

And of course, now the woke mob wants to take all that away.

Sounds like Admiral Frank Bradley needs to face court martial and spend the rest of his life in prison.

I mean that’s pretty much a transcript of what I said when I found out there was a James McGreevey running. I was like “Hmm, wonder if there’s any relation?” Then verbatim what you wrote.
