There is, it’s under assault and people need to keep speaking up. I believe by silencing one big voice, the administration creates hundreds or thousands of smaller ones.

They are pretty hated at this point. Are there any guarantees that these gerrymandered seats provide the outcome they want? Dems should still fight it, but if recent election results hold a clue to what’s to come, gerrymandering may not be enough for the republicans to stay in power.

As for Benghazi, Hillary took ownership of security lapses, but still there was no determination that she’d done anything criminal. The event was televised and in the court of public opinion, Hillary was bad news. Republicans laid siege to her reputation for years and won, just barely.

No, without rehashing the whole thing, the FBI couldn’t find any evidence of criminal intent with the server. They said she was careless, but that’s not a criminal offense. 11 days before the election, the FBI reopened the investigation based on newly discovered emails, turning out to be nothing.

I think they were successful with what they wanted to do to Hillary. It wasn’t about putting her in prison, it was about ruining her reputation. Take away Benghazi and the email server thing and she’d have been president. How many people didn’t vote for Hillary because they “didn’t like her?”

Don’t forget Schiff. He has to form a legal defense fund to protect himself from retribution.

In some respects he’s not wrong. American health suffers from chemicals used to grow our food. It’s a shame that even if that is fixed, it will be offset by slashing regulations for clean air standards and drinking water.

Can we please just coalesce around beating the republicans?

You sure that wasn’t a jabroni jacket?

Meh, I like you George, but it’s hard for me to take news off a Substack seriously. 30% of the country will follow Trump into hell. It’s the non voters and “swing voters” who need persuading.

“Shared sacrifice.” Ironic that the term comes from the people who are cutting life saving programs so they can get a tax break. I am sure that in the end there will be little sharing and sacrificing for them.

I think so. I’ll trust the guy who has made a career of pro football over what content creators and anonymous posters say.

I want this current administration to fail, but I have a hard time supporting things that are bad for the country. This seems like one of those “cutting off your nose to spite your face” moves.

Let’s see how the mid terms shake out. He has to get through his current term first

The comment is designed to be a distraction from all the bad press this administration is getting. Don’t take the bait.

We stayed at the Corazon Hotel. The Rooftop 360 Bar is pretty cool too

I went there per your suggestion. It was the first place I went to. I drank three of those bull drinks and then they brought a fourth one for free, haha. Great place and the food was really good

I love it there. When I was there with my brother we ate at two restaurants which were particularly good. Los Tres Gallos for dinner (reservation needed) and a tiny breakfast place named Dona Lolitas were great

The better not be with salmon roe

I got you, I see what you are posting! Where are the beloved cheese cubes?
January 24, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Nice to see you here. I agree

I don’t know why the question is asked. The moment is valuable and no answer really contributes much. In my opinion, questions should target knowledge, effectiveness and experience, not what happened during the 2020 election.

There is no shortage of footage where they are pressed into trying to answer for their policies. I think more effective use of energy will be calling them out when they are in charge and their decisions have severe impacts. Everything else is equivalent to tabloid tv, in my opinion.

It’s things like this that should be played constantly when they take over and cannot fix the problem immediately
