We started as Dykes on Bikes but not an official org. We then went by Women’s Motorcycle Contingent because the gov wouldn’t let us use the term, “Dykes on Bikes” as a registered org. We sued them and won, hence the name change back. We’ve always welcomed all women and LGBTQ+ allies to ride with us

Our Seattle chapter does a lot of security for local drag shows and story hours. You can say hello to them! They are very friendly!
