It failed 48-51.

Murkowski and Paul voted yes.

Yes, though I'd say for myself my frustration stems less from DOING paperwork and more from my suspicion no one ever does anything with (or reads) most of it.

Contextual issue, too, but our charge conferences requires me to print so much material that is *already submitted in an online database*

This is something non-urban parents often don't seem to grasp. When my sister and I both lived in Pittsburgh, my dad used to text us whenever there was a shooting. Oftentimes it'd be 20+ minutes from either of us. And we lived 20 minutes apart!

(I basically agree: someone said the Midwest begins at the Monongahela and I agree. The feel changes so much from the east end to the west).
