My point is very relevant, when the conversation was about who was at fault for this season.

I haven’t seen any reports saying that Nancy wants the job or that there were talks. With the international break this will move very quickly one way or another.

Nagbe was bought with GAM, and Moreira was a free agent. Tall also brought in Abou Ali. Regardless my point is that under both Bez and Tall our spending is way below many of our rivals.

We weren’t exactly big spenders under Bez either.

We definitely need another midfielder as well.

They ended up with a more talented team because they spent more, and that is down to the owners.

Nancy had Montreal playing great without Nagbe. We won’t find someone who is as good in possession as him, but we could get someone who offers something else.

I definitely wouldn’t say there was a lack of planning, but I would say there was a lack of investment.

I’d much rather have Nancy use it. I really don’t think there is much in these rumors, but I guess we will see.

If we got rid of Gazdag we’d only have one DP slot.

There’s 0 credible sources talking about it, so it’s not even on my radar.

In terms of MLS yeah. I haven’t seen any credible British journalist say anything about it.

It is very annoying. I just try not to pay much attention unless someone credible reports it. I’m also sure Nancy, and the team are used to these rumors.

Meh what else was he gonna say? Bogert also implied that there’s nothing in it.

We were always going to give Gazdag a new contract. You don’t spend 4 million, and let them walk for free. We can’t get some of that money back if we sell him.

The league makes it extremely difficult to stay at the top for long periods of time. Especially when you aren’t a big spender. This isn’t something exclusive to us.

I think it’s clear what Nancy thinks of him. Also, I thinks it’s important to remember that when we signed Gazdag we didn’t know about Nagbe retiring.

He’s been one of our best players this season, and reportedly just signed a new contract. It doesn’t seem he’s anxious to leave. Regardless our owners are billionaires we shouldn’t have to sell our best player if he doesn’t want to go.

I think Picard is viewed similarly as Matan was. Matan never had the best output, but he was an important cog in the machine. Our problem is we lack the focal point in attack for our players to play off of.

I’m not sure you are arguing. I understand how important he is, but but there’s plenty of other things he doesn’t do. Obviously, my preference would be for him to not retire, but I still believe we can adapt and replace him.

I never said he was mid, he will always be the Goat in my eyes. While yes he is a leader, and one of the best in the world at maintaining possession, he is lackluster in other areas. I do agree we won’t find anyone that excels where he does, but we can find someone who offers something different.
