I haven't posted much in a few days, I've been taking my own advice and am taking a break. Social media obsession can be a deadly curse. It can cloud your creative freedom so much. Since deciding to slow down, I've been even more productive artistically without needing to force it

Anybody make warframe art? I'm thinking of making some of my own

This project has come a long way. Why?...

Because hair.... When I started this, nearly 3 years ago I just could not sculpt hair to save my life. So I uploaded this without hair... It was a mistake 😂 I finally went back to it, cleaned it up and now I feel it's presentable enough to show the world.

Happy monday #artists What are your goals for the week?

In Marika's own words. Hear me, Demigods. My children beloved. Make of thyselves that which ye desire. Be it a Lord. Be it a God. But should ye fail to become aught at all, ye will be forsaken. Amounting only to sacrifices...

Had a conversation with someone with the audacity to say he was an "artist" just like me because he spend an hour working on his AI prompt for a book cover. 😒

A tip for art burnout. Take breaks BEFORE you need them. If you grind super hard, get burned and then realize you need a break, it takes a long time to recover sometimes. But if you pace yourself reasonably and recognize your limits, you won't overwork yourself in the first place.

I am a small creator online but I find the interactions I have with other authentic artists, who post what they love and believe in what they create is such a rewarding experience.

Some fun sci fi stuff

A friendly reminder to #artists not to post "for" social media, or the algorithm. Post FOR YOU, what YOU love, what YOU enjoy.

To all the 3D artists out there. What do you find the most difficult to create? And what flows the best with your style?

Many hours of experimentation and playing around with shapes and textures and we are finally all done 😁 I took some inspiration from #marvelrivals and #bordlerands for the texturing and the statue itself is loosely inspired by Queen Marika from #eldenring .

To all the #artists out there, even if it feels like you aren't making progress, as long as you are creating, you are. Yall got this!

#Artists remember that all the drawing you make that you may dislike or feel aren't very good are building blocks for future works that you will be super proud of. They aren't garbage, they're little treasures in the shape of garbage XD

It's not as easy as the edit looks. This took hours and hours to sculpt, but lucky you get to see it all in 5 seconds 🫨

I will admit it's satisfying to watch.

#artists what is your moral weakness when creating? Hands? Hair? Backgrounds?
Mine is all of the above XD
February 1, 2025 at 5:12 PM
If you ever get discouraged when looking at your #art progress, just remember that every artist you admired felt the exact same way at some point. Nobody starts off a master, progress takes time and everyone's pace is different.

#art growth is weird sometimes. Often #artists find themselves plateauing and feeling discouraged that they aren't making progress, but then something clicks all of a sudden. A moment of clarity, an epiphany and you feel yourself understanding something that you simply couldn't.
