I've always seen it as this bloody edge fest that goes WAY too far in one direction. It's only cuz of this Outcome Memories stuff, where I feel slightly conflicted, cuz they make some cool stuff for it (mainly the music), but it's attached to this .exe bullshit that I hate lol

I remember seeing a fan working on a remake and I hope that gets finished, cuz it looks so damn cool ;-;
The sprites look even MORE beautiful and so many more movement options.

The only thing keeping me from playing them is the screen feels too zoomed in where you can't see stuff ahead of you that well and the enemy/trap placement looks like it was developed by Eggman himself.
(I've also heard the special stages were developed by satan himself)

Visually, I love EVERYTHING they're doing. This feels like the closest the games have gotten to capturing Uekawa's artstyle and the pixel art and animation are so charming, vivid and full of life.
Makes me think if Sonic X was on Sonic's world, it would be just this.

i remember that feeling. sometimes kids are cruel cuz of their ignorance and that's about it, but i'm sorry you went through that. i can promise you it wasn't for nothing, cuz it's a testament how you stayed true to yourself and still enjoy Sonic regardless. if that ain't a real fan, idk what is lol
