I also recently finished replaying Emerald for the first time since 2005!!!! Yeah, 2005 was the last time I touched this game if you exclude me hacking with Action Reply and transferring all my mons to Pearl in 2007.
Emerald is easily Top 3 behind BW and Platinum though. So much fun with this game

Trob and I rented a car today in Japan. We drove to the outskirts of Tokyo in a town called Hachioji, and visited several recycle shops. These were seriously some of the best Hardoff and Bookoffs I have been to. The selections were massive and everything was underpriced for the most part. Worth 🔥

Everything is packed. Cannot believe I am going back to Japan tomorrow. Feels so surreal. I seriously cannot wait to arrive there. Going to be such an incredible trip. Hopefully I can sleep tonight 🙏

So apparently the Dino Crisis 2 E3 demo used the original menu sounds from DC1. Man it was a mistake to replace these in the final game, idk why but I love these sounds so much lol

Played through Resident Evil Remake for the first time, after replaying OG PS1. Super good remake, I was very impressed. Took a bit to adapt to early game strategy with being frugal on ammo / healing, but after that we were solid. Also technically a "spooky game" for October. 😊

Had a package I thought was going to ship before de minimis got repealed, sent back to Japan, due to suspension of JP Post thanks to shitty tariffs. Not going to be able to import anything from Japan for a while. Will have to snag these on my Japan trip in December I guess.

It's official everyone. I am going back to Japan in December 2025. Let's fucking go!! I am so excited, eager, happy, so many emotions. Cannot wait to return to my favorite vacation spot. I will probably cry when I get there LOL 😭
