Seawalls temporarily protect development at the cost of the public beach. This conflict is becoming more common as the seas rises.

Risk of further coastal erosion at Hemsby on the east coast of Norfolk as Storm Darragh hits this weekend. It's fortunate that the storm will arrive during neap tides, otherwise the risk would be even greater.
