Played by Marshall Crenshaw. Crenshaw played John Lennon in the "Beatlemania" and has had a pretty good career in pop/rock music.

It's good but I lean towards "The Buddy Holly Story".

I knew him way back in New England when he was Thomas Penmanship.

Oh yes! Excellent film. Malcolm McDowell remains one of my all-time favorite movies. The fish out of water (living in the modern era) is great, subtle comedy. Time Travel is one of my few sci-fi interests.

Tocchet was one of those few players who could score 30-40 goals/season and rack up 300 PIM.

Michkov has a mean streak. Tocchet should appreciate that.

I just saw an interview with Igor Larionov. When he came to the NHL, he was dismayed at the amount of freedom given to the player. Soviets were taught the whole of the team rather than the individual. Something to that, but not entertaining hockey. Flyers need a Leon Draisaitl or Nathan McKinnon.

I worked for Comcast Sportsnet (NBC SportsPhilly now). Covering local minor league sports was like pulling teeth. They turned their noses up at it. I grew up with the Philadelphia Firebirds. Great hockey. NAHL champs in '76. Lack of media coverage killed the franchise.

I saw the Titans play a matinee on President's day their last season in town. 500 people -- maybe -- showed up. The shine fell fast on that team. Poor media coverage always kills a minor league team. I am hoping this is not the case this time.

Tough to do when your leading scorer is 44th in the league in points, 42 in goals scored, and 53rd in assists.
