Is there any hope in a trade? A lot of folks think “no”, unless the Cards take on a similarly bad contract.

The @patriots.bsky.social trading from 1.4 to 1.6 (w/ the @raiders ) makes the most sense to me.
1) the Pats will still get 1 of the top 2 OTs in the draft (who may be interchangeable anyway) if not the #1 guy; while
2) picking up a 3rd rounder from LVR #68 overall

Although the Athletics are stadium-less, unless you want to call borrowing a AAA stadium home, with Nick Kurtz' call-up, (plus Soderstrom, Jacob Wilson, Brent Rooker, Lawrence Butler, Mason Miller), the A's are fast becoming the most exciting young team in baseball! Just need more starting pitching!
