Ugh, just imagine being such a dial tone of a human being that HITS-FM and Target (with a Starbucks) and network television have everything you ever wanted. Defending your behavior with sayings like, "I'm just giving my honest opinion!" or, "It's just what I believe!" I'd go with the fistfights! 👍

There's a game/anime series called Battle Athletes where humanity rebuilt civilization after a cataclysmic polar shift of the planet. Athletic competition became the drive to improve oneself and settle confrontations. It's a sappy fan-service-y series, but i sure think about it a lot during wartime

Because it institutionalizes austerity. And even the most dusty, stoic farmer in the world will end his day with a good book, a good movie, or good music. Artful expression is the compulsion of any culture, and to repress it is counter-human. (Or at least that's what gets me mad about it.)

Bit hesitant on whether to call [kt] a single sound, but i'll say for that Shavian usage, leaves far less ambiguity than those Oxford fellers. Step in the right way, better than leaving it rust in the yard.

even distinct characters can be viewed as skewed, rotated, or mirrored, which is where the trouble is with dyslexia. not as much of their commonness with other shapes. i have found that the use of the median and baseline for consonants does help me with identification, esp when used in sentences.
