They’re one of my favorite producers out right now, new wave of that techno/dubstep hybrid stuff.

Sure, it saved them royalties for the voice actors, but that, paired with the bland sterile map, is why this game feels like shit even though the skate mechanics are still there.

So some other people have been putting out good critiques of this game. Skate 1-3 had legit skate culture. Real skaters voices, Jason Lee/Reda voicing the missions, etc. It’s a perfect encapsulation that they threw all that away for a generic ai voice instead.

Ilian Tapes eclecticness is part of what I love about them tho.
