i have, and people have lied and exaggerated when they said "bricked" when in reality they meant a console ban. nintendo can't render a device inoperable remotely.

the difference is that people have long moved on from the ps2, the switch 2 is a fresh new console. another difference is hackers.

they can do a console BAN. bricked means the device can't even turn on and is inoperable. meaning it's about as useful as a brick.

they can't brick your system 😭 in fact nintendo isn't even outright against third party docks, it's just that any updates they push to their console, the third party docks need to be updated too. and that's on the third parties
