I choose not to follow trends that take me away from my convictions. As an author this may cost me book sales. But I've got to be me. We'll see how it goes.

I'm the CEO in the business of writing and promoting a novel. Every self-published writer or one aspiring to be is his or her own boss and gets to outline their own path. How does that make you all feel?
