Es gibt immer noch Unterschiede wie stürmisch es am Nachmittag/Abend an der Nordsee und im angrenzenden NW wird. Hier hängt es immer noch an der exakten Zugbahn und Stärke des Randtiefs.

Windows 10X is an unreleased version of Windows initially designed for dual-screen PCs. Announced in 2019, it was cancelled just 2 years later. Windows 11’s (2021) UI borrowed heavily from 10X. In fact, at least one reference to 10X was found in the initial release of 11. 👀🕵🏻‍♂️

Windows Vista build 5212, from 26th July 2005, is a beta build of Windows Vista. It is the earliest available build with Flip3D - a version of Alt+Tab with added 3D perspective effects. It also marks the debut of the Windows Sidebar as an app, rather than as part of Explorer.

Windows Vista build 5231.2, a.k.a. the October 2005 Community Technology Preview, is a build of lasts: it was the last build of Windows to display the "Start" text on the Start button by default, the last with a Windows XP-style Start menu & the last to use Beta 1’s wallpaper. ⌛️

Plex was the default visual style in Windows Vista builds 3683 (September 2002) to 4042 (September 2003). Primarily blue in colour - similar to Windows XP’s (2001) Luna visual style - it acted as a placeholder while Vista’s final visual style - Aero - was being worked on. ✨🖥️🖌️

Think you know Microsoft Surface? Think again. The original Surface (2008) was not a tablet in the traditional sense, but actually a table. 👀 Conceptualised in 2001 at Microsoft Research, upon release it ran Windows Vista (2006) & could recognise & interact with objects placed on the display.

Composer Matthew Bennett designed Windows 10’s (2015) system sounds. His calm, “holistic” sounds were inspired by the intonation of the human voice. For example, the phrase “Ready to go?” was the melodic basis for the calendar notification sound. What do you think of 10’s sounds?
