This expert exchange invites you to be part of a dialogue that explores the role of Futures Thinking in education and engage in a reclamation of socio-technical imaginaries of what our world and our society could be, that are rooted in democracy, sustainability, ethics, relational pedagogies, mutuality, hope and beauty. You are called to give up stinking thinking and arrive in the beauty of the present direct from the future with expert researchers pursuing a diversity of inquiries in the field of educational futures that explore: 

Generative AI, anticipatory ethics and speculative design with students and teacher educators

Thank you for writing such an important paper. The resignation of so many to an imaginary tech manifest destiny—including in the educational community, is shocking. There’s no inevitable future—only one to which we will default unless we can shake people’s sense of helplessness. We are not powerless
