Exactly. You can't negotiate with someone who has repeatedly publicly rejected the mere idea of governing the nation in good faith.

The notion that any sort of safety net should exist is offensive to today's GOP. The Democratic Party cannot compromise on defending the remaining welfare programs.

When people are being hurt and cultural sites are being destroyed, we need to ask why the federal government thinks it is appropriate to use aid funding earmarked for these fires as a hostage for political games.

The man in charge of "government efficiency" seems to have a hard time with respecting the independence of the judiciary, both domestically and abroad.

What people often dismiss as "entry level" or "low-skill" minimum wage jobs tend to be incredibly exhausting and time consuming. When I worked in a store organized by UFCW that had a Starbucks kiosk I remember seeing how hard the baristas were working.
