Pretty much every anticheat will shit a brick over procmon until you restart. I've had it happen with xigncode3 EAC probably some others too. Half the time i don't even remember when i opened procmon or what i was using it for as i don't really restart often.

Multihit WS are in a fairly poor spot compared to stuff you can just frontload WSD on and they're limited to a single damage type. They're not quite as bad as the community likes to think but they've been better.

Just gonna throw this out there but it's kind of bizarre even for us who play xi. It's just kind of a bunch of disjointed references with pretty much nothing holding it together.

Most people just use an addon. I do too but it doesn't tend to matter that much. You'll either just be melee zerging something in which case who cares or you'll just work it out beforehand. Either as a group or just knowing what self sc you want.

Oh god that is the NM for dnc empy isn't it. Least you should only have to do it a once maybe twice if you can either TH it yourself or get someone to TH it. Least dnc isn't a 5/5 empy job like some are.

Good luck to you i don't think i could do it without just burning myself out. Think i'm just gonna end up healing an aeonic group at some point for a godhands and calling it good enough.

If that's a barrier you can submit a GM call in game through the help desk. I have heard of people successfully sorting broken transfers through that.

If you logged in too early after a transfer you can kinda break it. A gm can fix it but it's afaik a manual process.

Steam just gives you a regular key so don't feel particularly forced to buy it in either place if one is more convenient for some reason. It's not like xiv where you actually get locked to anything.

It's actually only about 14 gigs the patcher just moves at the speed of frozen molasses because it hasn't been touched in an eternity. Little late at this point but there is a prepatched set of dats that gets passed around for this reason.

On retail you can solo with relative ease the vast majority of the story. There's a small handful of fights in more recent stuff you may need help on but we're talking single digit

That subreddit is 90% either new players or jackasses so i wish i could say it's surprising? But people there are just crazy bitter sometimes. It's why i don't do much other than answer the odd new player question there.

Yeah i saw that shitstorm right as it got locked. Wish i had a shell on asura to give you but all the social shells i personally knew have since died.

If you were to ask here for one you'd get one. It's a trivial amount of gil for anybody who's played for more than a few hours. You'd probably want one for bahamut as that's where a bunch of folks from here are forming an ls.
