Damnimg report on numbers of children in consistent poverty from Children's Rights Alliance. Government must act as successor to Roadmap on Social Inclusion gets underway. There is no need for this in Ireland. Poverty is a political choice. End it NOW!

Well done Senator Chris Andrews for bringing Equality Legislation before the Seanad today..we urgently need discrimination on the grounds of socio-economic disadvantage outlawed..the Government has to address this issue, we're watching...

Well done to all who participated in the Social Inclusion Forum yesterday & to @welfare_ie for hosting. Message was clear we need structural change which recognises the intersectional nature of poverty in order to end it. This is a political choice & we have to do it!
