The cutscene when you try to ride it without the suit, you can really feel how disappointed Samus is just from how she stares forlornly at it.

I've been there. I have a hard time making friends in general, but I've put huge time and effort into being friends with people who never really thought of me the same way, and it hurts. And it feels a lot harder to make new friends than it used to be.

I can only speak from my own perspective, but I've been so depressed that I've stopped looking after myself before, and I'm not sure how I would have responded if someone I knew said something to me. I do know that when I finally did brush my teeth, I felt like I had at least accomplished something.

Scaleway seem like they have some cheaper options for 24/7 hosting, but I don't have any experience with them so can't recommend beyond that.

I think Hetzner has a plan that adds up to around €40 a year, not sure of any others. What are you using it for? Do you need compute running all the time?

i3 can be really good when you get used to it! I used to use sway, which is very similar, but I've heard Hyprland is getting more popular.
