I'm so happy with my chunky Mac book pro. Being able to run qwen3-coder-next with a 256k context window on my laptop with a reasonable tok/sec is absolutely joyous.

It's definitely a wild outlier. I know of very few companies that operate the way it does for sure.

In other companies that do this, there's a lot of work tracking "deferred impact" because otherwise you incentivize everyone to do short term projects for checklist reasons and that ends up being a catastrophe.

Hades 1 is legitimately one of my favorite games of the last 5 years. I've played it fully through (100% completion) on two different consoles.
I haven't checked out Hades 2, but the videos I have seen of it make me feel they took the wrong lessons from the success of 1.
