I was a kid (maybe 7) when the Mason Reese "smorgasbord" commercial for Underwood came out. Always think of it whenever I have it.

More "modern-day dinosaur" than any other bird. The teeth...the teeeeeth!!!!

Geese are terrifying. My dog will take a look and think about taking a run at one, and I just tell her "get to steppin'...you don't want none of that".

Underwood Deviled Ham Spread. Usually just spread a dab on a saltine, but I had an olive sourdough loaf this past weekend. Toasted up a slice and spread it on there. I am the deviled ham pervert.

Are people really still interested in TRON in 2025? Old enough to remember when the first film came out in 1982. The movie sucked. The arcade game sucked. I don't recall either one of them giving me one moment of joy. And the new one has Jared Leto? Lol...okay. Not gonna see that.

I see Josh Hawley is trending on here. Did he run away from his own people again or something?

King Lie-das on his gold-plated throne, doing what he does best. Deflect and lie.

Spent 10 minutes or so yesterday reading posts from the Radio Free guy about how what is going on in America today isn't even close to fascism. Then I unfollowed. Because honestly who cares what you call it. No need to pick nits. It fucking sucks and it needs to stop fucking sucking.

Why does he look drenched in sweat?

Truth. Didn't Kevin come out to "Stranglehold" by Nugent?

Real songs, man....we used to be a country.

He, at once, seems like a 2001-2007 guy and a late 80's guy to me. Lol. I watched a lot of Big East hoops back then and he was in the NYC Point Gods documentary with all the other dudes who played in the 80's. Mark Jackson, Rod Strickland, etc.. But Marbury was his contemporary was also in the doc.

God missed out by one year or so. Only played one season from 1998-99. Shame. He is an all-timer!

Missed out by about 12 years, only played one year 1988-89, but would Fennis Dembo have made the list? My all-time favorite hoop name. He and his twin sister Fenise were the 11th and 12th kids in the family. An older sister suggested they be named after the French word finis (for finish). Glorious.

Vinny Del Negro mention. Quote, I can't find evidence of right now, on why Jim Valvano played Vinny. If it was because he is Italian. Jimmy V: I don't play him because he's Italian, I play him because I'm Italian!

something like that.

Similar. I cannot recall them ever being at the same place at the same time. Both passed my freshman year of college in 84/85. Neither drove and my father's mother was in a hospital bed or chair from my earliest memory. Going back I wish I spent more time with her. She had...ahem...some stories.

Did they get along? My grandmothers rarely interacted. One was off-the-boat Irish married to a cop, tough as nails. The other was born in the late 1800s, married a professional gambler and was a tiny old woman in my earliest memories. Had a gay bar on LI named after her (ironically) by a cousin.

Hand waving in the air signals a fair catch. Play is over as soon as he catches the ball.

Let's make it a Class Action. I am in.

Most punchable dude in this administration, and that is saying something.
