i set up the materials on the floor of my 1 bedroom apartment in Philly. i fashioned an easel out of a cardboard box and i must have sat for hours trying to get the proportions and plumb lines just right. i painted just for practice. all the greats did still life, right?

jk it's only been 7 days without daycare. will only take advice from parents who have babies that scream at ppl for no reason and only wants to eat 5 kinds of food.

they sent replacements but the order history says $0 and they said don't worry, it's not actually gift cards for $0, that's just the cost for the replacement and i just said, "ok i trust you" BUT WE'LL SEE, i won't be able to find out until the recipient tells me, i guess 🙃

like, 9 years from now, I'm gonna think these long days I'm living through rn flew by???? today, i was reminded that she started daycare only last year in 2024 -- feels like at least 2 years ago, feels like AGES ago. what is time???
