Yup, no income tax would require a federal VAT which the rich would be able to get around even easier...so the poor and middle class would pay MORE than now since there's NO refunds on consumption taxes!

No, they could do it, but they would add a 20% Federal VAT. So that means the poor would be expected to pay for everything even more-so than now!

The hilarious part is, no income tax would mean MASSIVE consumption tax. So the poor would pay even MORE than they do now and it would remove all assistance programs. No income tax would be the final straw in bankrupting this country!
