Yes that's why I think it's both. But getting healthier is great, and teams can improve as they go! Wouldn't suddenly expect them to do this to Josh Allen but hoping for a continued slight improvement. Not being an outright liability would be huge.

They're much healthier now, that's the main difference
January 12, 2026 at 6:05 PM
Why not both?

Shit happens sometimes, sure, but the Bengals being a poorly run organization absolutely matters. They won't field a good team around burrow because of how they run the org. If you wanna bet on burrow to win a ship go ahead. They've been outright bad for three years in a row and won't change.

That's why if you're him you're almost certainly going to try to get the Baltimore job. Him and Stefanski are the best options for them right now unless you think maybe Minter?

I know but I'm saying McDaniels will get a Head Coaching job somewhere, doesn't need to settle for being an OC to Quinn who will likely be fired next year
January 8, 2026 at 4:52 PM
He'll definitely get a HC job though, yeah?

Bengals haven't made playoffs in three years and their defence is atrocious. Ownership doesn't run the team well and is hanging on to a mid coach. I absolutely think Lamar/Allen could win one, that's another story.

Very true about Burrow, the Bengals aren't a serious organization. See: Marvin Lewis, Zac Taylor

When you have oil reserves, when you don't have oil reserves

I love games that end in missed field goals! Kicking is so good it feels like we barely get it anymore.

Denver and Houston not moving pretty much at all is interesting considering how the perception of those teams has changed over the season

Or this one where they are both serving so hard (fill in the blanks)

Dolphins and Falcons are roughly the same team, so does Maye also have to throw 3+ picks like Stafford did against two NFC south teams?

And his receiver would have volleyball spiked it out of the end zone, or stepped out of bound, or.....

I have watched the Patriots lose too many times in Miami late in the season to just slot them into that #2 seed. Having flashbacks of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown running the wildcat as we speak.

Which head coach would you trust the most to cook a full holiday dinner for your family? Appetizers, Turkey, dessert, everything including.
