Don't overlook DINKs in general (double income no kids). I got a buddy with a room dedicated to building and displaying his Lego sets. Dude even installed commercial display shelving and lighting to make it look fancier. Easily $50K worth of renos and lego in that room.

Baywatch is a genuinely entertaining pin! First time I assumed I was in for little more than thin gameplay and ironic thematic lolz. I came away loving the machine. Nice scoring rules, great shots, fun DMD animation, and overall a nice flow to the progression. A table worth a road trip to try out.

Catching up on your news this week. Is there confidence Transformers is the Gen1 cartoon? As an 80s kid I'd love that! But Paramount is looking to reboot the movie franchise (again) so I'm skeptical they'd license a retro theme rather than align with their plans for 2026-2028.

I feel like the urgent need for digital sovereignty will prod the EU, in fairly short order, to fork its own standard linux distro that will seed a robust and stable developer ecosystem. The majority of people who Just Need to Get Shit Done will adopt it and we'll all be better for it.

1) Which version of Linux to invest in as the stable, secure, long-term option so I don't have to think about this question again for 10 years?
