Also shout out to her being on Supernatural in like Season 2 as Cassie Robinson.

The acting felt like the male lead (Mo McCrae) didn’t really believe in it either— like his performance wasn’t giving “invested”.

Outside of that though— it feels too long and more like the story should have been told differently.

Reasons to watch it though: All Black cast (female lead— Megalyn Echikunwoke — is b/w biracial but Black presenting I guess); spiritual representation; Black characters in a romantic pairing with chemistry and depth; AESTHETIC
