Desire cannot fulfill a soul that feels unworthy and undervalued. At 39, I finally SEE me and I’ve decided that means more to me than anyone else seeing me. For a long time, I overlooked myself and still do from time to time, it’s a journey! But one I’m proud I’ve taken over the last 8 years!

I often think about this version of myself and how unaware I was that I was pleading in so many ways to be seen and cared for by others and thought my body would be catalyst for love. I don’t believe that self-love solves everything by any fucking means but I do believe it reminds me regularly that
