Isn’t this a genuine concern for folks who can’t ambulate? I know that is not all disabled people, but it does seem to exclude a specific group from housing to not consider it.

She intentionally made back room deals to block his path forward in spite of the people. Misguided people who thought it was “worth it” to shove neo liberalism down working people’s throats just to see a woman president lost that election for all of us, and still can’t admit it was misguided.

Been thinking about this a lot this week. I personally knew so many people who were Bernie supporters who voted Trump in 2016. It was our last chance for a people’s president and the country never recovered from the way the DNC handled things.

Right. So if we pretend to be a democracy, we should have laws that make it impossible to be a billionaire. But since capitalism has already spiraled out of control we’re way past that. I guess my bottom line is not only do they not need eachother but democracy cannot exist under capitalism

But the issue starts when one tries to overtake or control the other. Both when government overreach stops the market from functioning freely and when capitalists put their economic power into the public sector to unbalance the system.

The way I understand it capitalism is an economic system while democracy is a political system or ideology. To me this means they’re more like the way the private and public sectors are supposed to work and compliment each other one for profit and one for the general well being of citizens.
