Thank you for speaking out, should-have-been-former-President-Clinton
Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

This is the kind of treatment the President wants to normalize. Absolutely disgusting.
Rep. Mary Miller introduces Rep. Sarah McBride as “The Gentleman from Delaware, Mr. McBride.”

Performative cruelty.

I do not understand what Taylor sees in Brittany

Go Birds 💚🦅🖤!
Grew up in DE with parents from PA (suburbs northwest of Philly) and a G-ma who grew up in Fishtown.
I love all the Kelce’s, esp Kylie, and have rewatched Jason’s SB parade speech multiple times. I like Travis, too, but he doesn’t need the 3peat.

I read 4 books in the month of January and I am confident it’s thanks to my attempt to escape the reality of the daily news. I somehow have still found time to expose myself to the latest travesties imposed on us by 47 so it’s not fully working 🤦🏻‍♀️

Love my Eagles, love me some Taylor. I’m looking forward to this rematch with TS present but I MUST stay loyal to Philly. She started out an Eagles fan, after all!
GO BIRDS 🦅

Dude, IG is wild today. People in the comments sections just spitting misinfo/disinfo about marginalized communities 😮‍💨. I don’t want to engage but I want to shut them down so I’m picking my battles but it feels futile with these people

To my nonbinary friends or anyone else impacted or offended by 47’s remarks about gender today, know that he does not speak for all Americans. Why that needed to be said in his inauguration speech is beyond me. Let people be who they are. Leave them alone. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

My 3 year old told me I smell like January. The tone was giving insult vs compliment but I’m okay with it either way ❄️

My 3-year-old son recently discovered the 2014 song “Honey, I’m Good,” by Andy Grammar and he keeps asking Alexa to play it 😅. So random but at least it’s catchy

In 2025 I just want to be myself, do things that bring me joy, share special moments with friends and family, and forget the rest. I have a feeling a lot of other 1985 babies feel the same way.
We are turning 40 and are not available for nonsense.

The best compliment I received in 2024 was someone telling me they trusted my judgment.

I chose to have a prophylactic double mastectomy this yr, and the support from my circle was astounding. I expected some pushback or questioning, but even from people who didn’t quite understand, I felt trust.

Are we all hopping from app to app hoping the newest crowed will be nicer? 🫣
Trolly people have generally stayed away from me since I don’t have a big following anywhere, but when a post strikes a nerve with someone, watch out 😬

I am into the writing genre that incorporates using essays about specific life experiences to help us understand and explain bigger metaphors about our lives & ourselves.
E.g. “I’ll Show Myself Out” by Jessi Klein. It’s essays on motherhood & it made me feel seen & made me think, which I love.

As this country becomes more unhinged, I take comfort in that it’s driving people fighting for the rights of the marginalized towards each other. We need one another so we can band together, know we aren’t the crazy ones, know we are on the right side of history and that the fight is well worth it

My first post!
I’m Amy, I’m a tired mom of 3 little ones who works full time and does postpartum education on the side and is about to undergo a bilateral mastectomy in a few weeks due to a precancerous lesion & high lifetime cancer risk. 😵‍💫
Being on socials is a cathartic outlet for me ❤️
