Sometimes what you need is a cheeseburger and one of my favorite places to get one endlessly customized is The Cherry Cricket. I always get mine with crispy onions and American cheese. Favorite burger toppings?

Things you could be doing - going to Satchel's on 6th, sitting outside as the light wanes and a chill settles in the air, eating warm fig salad, fried stuffed summer squash blossoms, and rabbit confit. (I mean, you could eat inside, but what's the fun in that?)

Made Diana Henry's "i can never resist pumpkins" menu today. Here's the Tuscan grape bread & Italian cheeses. It was delightful.
